Fernanda Montenegro (real name Arlette Pinheiro Monteiro Torres) is a brazilian writer and actress. She's one of the greatest names of the brazilian cinema, known to be the first latin american woman and only brazilian woman nominated to the best actress oscar. She was nominated for the film 'Central do Brasil" in 1999.
