Bacurau (2019), directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles, provides entertainment and at the same time deep criticism, and fits so well to our current scenario that it is scary to think of the script as creation 10 years ago. Mendonça gave an important speech at the end of the exhibition in Cannes, "This is a very important moment in our country. And this is a film about resistance, about education and about being Brazilian in the world". Definately worth watching!
